Mar. 5th, 2008 08:04 pmAn imaginary dialogue between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. If you believe my freshman college honors professor, the single-voiced narrative was actually not very common until some period I've forgotten, and dialogues were the main way of articulating arguments and ideas. It's a pity it's not so common anymore, as it is an excellent way of presenting things.
I shouldn't fret as much as I am, but I will anyways. The mainstream narrative as shaped by the press is starting to favor Clinton, or at least starting to cover her more evenly. I think the needling will be good for Obama, and refine his methods for pointing out flaws without getting nasty--inoculating him against McCain, as it were. I just feel bad for the people of Pennsylvania, as their primary is at the end of April. They're not going to get any rest for weeks. But the longer Obama campaigns, the more he closes the gap. I hope that stays true.
