Jun. 7th, 2009 12:18 amI'm afraid I'm subliminating my biological clock into fandom or something because now after seeing "The Kids are All Right" I want to read Dean kidfic. This is the second fandom where this has happened. *facepalm*
I also love "Bad Day at Black Rock" more than I can say right now. Silly slapstick comedy! Sam looking adorably forlorn ("I lost my shoe. :(") and grumpy by turns! "I'm Batman!" I wish this show was funny more often. It's not as bad as Battlestar Galactica but sometimes it gets a bit much after an extended viewing session.

May. 21st, 2009 11:42 pmMore proof that I spend too much time in Vancouver: In Supernatural, I can identify the sound of the Skytrain.
Watching 2.10 now. I like Ellen and Jo, or maybe I'm just happy to have the presence of females who aren't victims and/or sex objects. They probably won't survive, but I am glad they are around now. Angst and emopants for the boys--combined with Vancouver, MOTWs, and the alumni, it feels like X-Files. I hadn't realized how much I'd missed it.

I would just like to say AAARRAAAAGGHH at Megavideo for cutting me off in the the middle of "In My Time of Dying" because they suck. Not that I don't love the Chinese video sites for ever so slightly improving my character recognition (and every time they translate "Sammy" as 弟弟, or younger brother, it makes my heart go squish just a little bit), but you can't skip to a random point in the stream, which sucks. So, um, yeah. Boys and Bobby ilu so <3<3
What I meant to say (and the reason for my post) was: Doctor Who (and really, by extension the rest of the New Whoverse) is about the family you choose for yourself. Supernatural is about the family you're born with. And there's love and beauty and devotion in both.
