I think I might be starting to hit the wall in terms of acceptable fic. I just read a howler where Shepard gets injured (and is threatened with rape by mercenaries, ew), Garrus loses his actual faculties, and appears to go into what I can only describe as Turian pon'farr. IT WAS SO BAD YOU GUYS. Like, if Turians actually existed I would be apologizing profusely on behalf of the rest of the human race bad. Obviously one cannot judge quality based on kudos, which makes me very sad.

(I think it might have been worse than the Turian gang-bang fic with illustrations and the type of detail that indicated somebody thought about it for way too long to be healthy. At least that was vaguely in-character.)
