Have developed incurable fondness for Steamers, even though it is basically Chipotle (please don't get me started on Chipotle. I've never seen less Mexican people in a Mexican restaurant before.) for Chinese restaurants. This aggravates me. But the dumplings are so gooood.

Am extremely jealous of Holly Gaiman, because she gets to take a class on graphic novels with Art Spiegelman (who, for some reason, I am still more comfortable conceputalizing as a little gray mouse that smokes rather than a neurotic 50-something balding Jewish guy) and Chip Kidd. And her midterm was on Blankets, while I'm here struggling with SPSS and two English papers due in the next week. Life is not fair.

Oh my god, we need a restaurant like that here. Or, if we have one (I find it hard to believe we don't, somehow), there needs to be one somewhere closer to me than, say, Richmond. (I do make occasional pilgrimages to a bakery in Chinatown which make divine barbeque pork steam-buns.) Their menu looks fantastic. I think I could go back to Asia for another three weeks and do nothing but eat this kind of food.
