37 Record-Store Clerks Feared Dead in Yo La Tengo Concert Disaster

Isn't it frightening that we know and are (sometimes) friends with people like this?

As of press time, police and emergency rescue workers were still sifting through the wreckage for copies of Magnet, heated debates over the definition of emo, and other signs of record-store-clerk life.

The Onion: widely known now, but still fucking great.

*snerk*

I'm pretty sure I'm not actually friends with anyone like that, but one of Brian's housemates looks exactly like the girl Missing Clerk. Also, I just applied for a job at Music Millennium (the one on 23rd, of course), so someday, it may be me...

(Speaking of mydarkstar and starstealingirl, we want to drag you to a Ringu-watching party now.)

Bwagh! Why Ringu? That movie actually made me scared to go to sleep, and that never happens. Hideo Nakata makes great movies, I just can't fucking watch them. I still get creeped out thinking about Dark Water. *shudder*

Because we're both too chicken to see it alone?
