So I watched Kill Bill today, and was quite unimpressed. It was basically a couple of really nifty scenes sandwiched in between a crapload of Tarantino wank. I fucking despise Quentin Tarantino, because he feels the need to wave his B-movie knowledge in everybody's face when y'know, I don't fucking care. If I wanted to watch blaxploitation films or Japanese hack'n'slash'n'gush films or consciously arty cinematography, I would.

But there were some pretty kickass fight scenes courtesy of Yuen Wo-Ping, and the most gorgeous dress evar (worn by Julie Dreyfus, I wish I could find a picture), so it wasn't all bad. Just mostly.

Yeah, that was a truly horrible film. I wanted to puke when I left. I'm surprised I stayed through the whole thing.
