Yay! I've grown to assuming that no one else has read it, so that was certainly a welcome surprise. Also, I'm with you on Letters to Wendy's--it's brilliant.
The Magican's Assistant-Ann Patchett Lucky-Alice Sebold Poisonwood Bible-Barbara Kingsolver The Family Orchard-Nomi Eve Fall of a Sparrow-Robert Hellenga
Armageddon Summer by Jane Yolen and Bruce Coville. Yeah, okay, it's a young adult book, but it's a quick read with a beautiful plot. Just look it up and read the synopsis. You'll want to read it, trust me.
Or My Real Dad by Scott Bateman. Only $4 at Powell's. Hilarious, quick read. It's awesome.
Letters to Wendy's By Joe Wenderoth. It will rock your shit. Fucking hilarious book entirely written on Wendy's comment cards.
