Eyyyy, guess who's sick? Not coronavirus for sure, because my nose is too stuffed up and I don't have a fever. (Apparently I run at least a degree colder than the average, although apparently the supposed average is made up anyways.)

Shit's getting real in Washington state, with the governor announcing the closure of schools (first King, Snohomish, Pierce Counties, then the entire state) until at least April 24. Pretty much any sort of large public event has been canceled or postponed, and even the art museum has said it's going to shut down. 

Working from home remains a thing. There is a thread of pet pictures in the gif room on Microsoft Teams. I have started demanding pet updates from my team members because why the fuck not.

As somebody who thinks of herself as pretty introverted, it's been super weird realizing I actually need more in-person social contact than I expected. Not a lot, but enough that I find myself wanting to go out and talk to people, which is incredibly strange to me. Stay tuned for more weirdly mundane discoveries when social distancing morphs into social isolation!

I haven't even started working from home - that's tomorrow - and already I'm feeling this!

It's going to be very weird for me when they close the schools. I'm a contented introvert, but I spend so much of my time interacting with 200+ people per day.
