So what have you been up to? / Major life changes? Same old same old?
Well, I got a promotion and a raise. That was cool. My cat died. That was not cool at all. We will be getting new kittens soon. I am excited about that.

What fandom are you in/do you spend most of your time in?

Dragon Age and various parts of the MCU, specifically Captain America and Daredevil. I still love Steve Rogers a lot.

Where do you hang out online?

Mostly on Twitter and Tumblr these days, same username as here. Twitter is basically logorrhea stream of consciousness where I'm an asshole about everything, Tumblr is terrible puns, cute animals, hot people, and fandom. 

What are you reading?

Right now, I am listening to an audiobook of The Simoqin Prophecies by Samit Basu. I admit the only reason I'm consuming it at all is because Ramon Tikaram (Dorian Pavus's VA) is narrating it. He is perfectly delightful. I wish I could say the same about the book.

Ficwise, I have been hopping around. I was reading a bit of Steve/Sam for a while, and I did read a truly delightful Bashir/Garak marriage of convenience fic. I'm feeling more tropey than pairing-oriented right now, and I'm intending on starting a couple fake relationship fics in fandoms I don't really know anything about.

What are you watching?

I am working my way through Star Trek: DS9. I watched some of it when it first aired, but not all, and apparently not the good shit. We are approaching the middle of season 5, where I am told everything gets great. It's a little like being acquainted with relatives when you're a child, but now that you can talk like adults you only now truly understand how awesome they are.

What are you making?

I am currently poking at a Cullen/Dorian fake relationship story. It's very tropey and very ridiculous.

What are you squeeing about today?

I do not feel particularly squeeful today due to current events. I did, however, read this Reddit thread with people sharing their experiences about receiving a year's/lifetime's worth of product and it was amazing. 

If you could rope old fandom friends into a new fandom, it would be.....

I want to say Arrow but it's not a very good show and I don't want to inflict that on you. I just want somebody to talk with about how Olicity is the worst (and they're going to break up and it's going to be really dramalicious and awful because it's the CW) and how excited I am for Thea to be Arsenal. I also have a lot of thoughts about legacy superheroes and taking up mantles re: both Thea and Laurel.

Steven Universe, because it is an amazing show. I will be there for you when it goes from cute kid show to sudden feels factory. I'VE BEEN THERE. I UNDERSTAND.

Dragon Age, because most of the fandom is odious and I always need more sensible people to discuss/squee over lore and characters with.

What else is on your mind?
I hope they don't fuck up Civil War. The world is a terrible place and I wish it would stop, just for a little bit. It makes me tired and sad. I'm really excited for the last Raven Cycle book. Why is there so little decent Cullen/Dorian or Matt/Karen/Foggy fic?
