Mar. 11th, 2008 12:05 pmOf course, the one time Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds come to town the tickets are sold out before I even hear of it. I could pay a thousand dollars to go to the concert, but, no. The concert is a benefit for Seeds of Compassion (oh hay, a picture of Greg Nickels looking like a douche!), which is some sort of Buddhist organization associated with early childhood education and the Dalai Lama. Before the concert, there will be a dialogue between Dave Matthews and His Holiness about music. The thought of Dave Matthews and the Dalai Lama having a dialogue about anything just kind of makes my head hurt though. I like Dave a lot, but srsly, the Dalai Lama?
If you're a student of a community college or university around the Seattle metropolitan area, you can try and get tickets to see him when he gets awarded an honorary doctorate from UW. The server is slammed though, so be patient.
