Nov. 3rd, 2007 04:44 pmThis is iMac number two. The text display, especially at small sizes, is even worse than the last one. I'm starting to get really frustrated. There are certain people on the f-list who are going to feel bad about this, but it's not like they had anything to do with Apple's QC process. When I get my car back, I'm going to take this to the U-Village Apple Store and go through every last bit of stock if necessary until I get one with a decent display. They can't all be bad, can they?

Date: 2007-11-03 11:58 pm (UTC)One thing that I have found helps a lot with text display on macs is changing the anti-aliasing setting in the display preferences to 'Standard - Best for CRT' even if you have an LCD. It makes it much, much sharper.
At least you should be able to get an iMac with Leopard on it automatically now. :)
