pearwaldorfSo much for hoping my computer would hang on until Leopard came out. I tried to turn it on this morning, and it whirred sadly a couple times and then whirred no more. Thank god for the checkout server machines at the school, or otherwise I would not be able to have a working computer until El Jobso decides he wants to release Leopard to the masses. It's not a bad little machine, but I want a computer that's mine, not one I have to give back after 30 days. Although I shouldn't be complaining too much--this computer is newer and so much faster than my old one.
And then I was late for my first day of class. Thankfully there was no actual instruction until about the first hour, but I still felt really stupid for not reading my schedule closely enough.
Work is fucking crazy. I suppose it's good that it's my only source of stress right now, but oh what a source it is. I pray it calms down soon.
