Work is boring. Everybody's away at a thing, and it's just me and my iPod.

Cody and I went to Crave for dinner on Sunday. Despite the crowd (it's located in the same building as a playhouse, and there was a performance), the loud and loathsome yuppie family sitting way too close (the restaurant is tiny) and the spacey service, I would go back unhesitatingly. The food is fucking amazing. It's local, simple, elegant, and so well executed we didn't care about any of the other stuff after a bite. Seriously, at the end of it I wanted to give the chef, Robin, a hug. (Apparently I'm not the only person who has thought of it if it's mentioned on the website.) It's been a long time since I've had a meal that good.

I can't mail you any food from Crave, but perhaps you would accept a page chock-full of library porn instead? I'm glad to see the Suzzallo library at UW represented, as it really is one of the loveliest places on a campus filled with lovely places.

Wheee. And hopefully my iPod soon? I have to postmark the rebate within 30 days of purchase. Not that I think it'll take that long, but fyi.
