So I went down to the FedEx Ground hub in Auburn to try and retrieve Cody's computer. We drove around for an hour and a half. And when we got there? "Sorry, no computer. This is an Express package." WE WERE AT THE EXPRESS HUB IN SEATTLE AND THE NEGLIGENT SHIT AT THE COUNTER TOLD US IT WAS GROUND. He never even checked! After we left the Ground hub, I was about ready to tear out that man's intestines with my bare hands. But I was benevolent and Cody and I had dinner at Red Robin in Federal Way (shudder) instead.

Also, the phone reps for FedEx? Complete fucking morons. So is the delivery system. What kind of idiot designs a scheme where a package is loaded onto truck, but with no intent of delivering it? This company makes UPS look like it has its shit together, which is a truly frightening thing when you hear that from somebody who loathes anything associated with UPS.

Wish me luck. I have to fight through the swathes of idiot CSRs today to find out if I can pick up the package from the Express hub. Pray for that agent behind the counter and hope I don't rip out his spleen when I see him.

Rip out the spleen! Rip it out!!!!

I had a similar experience with DHL here. I signed the door tag they left and waited three days with no delivery. I called them four times (on two different days) before someone finally answered the phone at the local office. They told me when they left the tag, that meant they were no longer going to try to deliver the package even though the tag said they would attempt delivery the following day. And when I drove two towns over to the DHL office, there was a line of people waiting at an unmanned counter for someone to come help us. It took me 45 minutes to get my package. Death to the demon delivery companies!

Graaargh. Yes. This has happened to me with DHL too. And their hub was in the assfuck end of nowhere in the industrial area of north Portland. I drove for like 45 minutes to get there. I didn't know it was possible to get lost in Portland, but yes, it is.

And DHL is a freaking evil company. According to the Teamster organization propaganda, DHL employees' paychecks used to bounce on an alarmingly regular basis.

FedEx is anti-union, so I prefer UPS.
