So you remember fair Verona, where we lay our scene, right? Where Romeo and Juliet lived? I went there on a trip to Europe when I was seven and they showed us the supposed balcony where the lovers met. It was all kitschy and touristy to the max, but it was cute. Apparently people write to Juliet in Verona, and there's this association called the Club di Giulietta that answers the letters. They've compiled a collection of letters that they've received into a book. This is absolutely fascinating, this outpouring and correspondence to a fictional character who is not Santa.

hah, before I got to the end of your post I was just gearing up to write a comment about the Canada Post Santa thing. Anyway, this is really neat and sounds like a fascinating book, and is definitely going on my list of "things to buy for someone someday". Thanks!
