May. 25th, 2007 09:52 pmHave interview for graduate assistantship at one of the UW libraries on Tuesday. Go me. Think positive job karma thoughts for me.
I dearly wish we had an H&M or Zara in Seattle. I keep hearing rumors that we will in regards to the H&M, but alas, not yet. I would like to shoot whoever at Target decided that putting useless miniscule darts RIGHT ABOVE YOUR BOOBS was a valid stylistic choice. It is a deeply distressing thing to discover when you discover that you have no other interview shirts than these. I do have a cute skirt though. Off to the mall on Memorial Day for a white shirt that doesn't suck and perhaps another pair of black pants. Or maybe pinstripes. Can you wear pinstripes without a matching top?
(And yes, I am trying to figure out what I am going to wear so I can not focus on how I am going to answer these interview questions wittily and eloquently. That's a whole other freakout on its own.)

Date: 2007-05-26 07:57 am (UTC)Zara’s going to be a little tougher. For the longest time the only location even remotely close to me was in Santa Monica—apparently there are three in southern California now. The rest are really spread out: San Francisco, Dallas, Houston, three in NJ/NY, DC, and Miami. (That's only five states in the Union and DC!) But then you could go to Spain, where they’re about as common as the Gap. Too bad the exchange rate doesn’t quite work in our favor.
Good luck with the interview! I’ll try and send some Good Luck VibesTM your way.
