Jun. 9th, 2012 04:15 pmSo guess who's waiting for the giant Guild Wars 2 patch client to download? HAVE A MEME.
fannish5: Five canon events that you found unbelievable and wished had not happened. In no particular order:
1. The End of Time. Because, what? Really? It felt incredibly disrespectful to Ten as a character that he got sent out in such a horrible, ridiculous manner. Actually, most of that whole year of specials was fucking terrible, because The Doctor as lone wolf makes him a horrible emo mess unfit for company or television.
2. The Battlestar Galactica series finale. See above. ALL I WANTED WAS SOME PROPER CHARACTER RESOLUTION YOU BASTARDS, NOT "DEEP" COMMENTARY ON HOW THE MORE THINGS CHANGE, ETC. (Also it was super-awesome watching that and The End of Time super-close to each other. That fucked me up fandom-wise for a little bit.)
3. Donna's fate in Journey's End. I cried for ages after watching that. I still can't talk about it without turning into an angry froth.
4. Most of season 3 of Veronica Mars. It was icky on so many levels, and it just pissed me off seeing Rob Thomas display his issues with the feminists who obviously didn't put out for him in college. It was super-hard watching a show I loved turn into, well, that.
5.I can't actually think of a fifth one! There's things I disliked, like the epilogue at the end of HP7, the ME3 ending, and a thing that doesn't exist if I don't read it (Giles's death in BtVS Season 8) (BECAUSE I CAN TOTALLY DO THAT), but nothing that made me actually flailly and ARGH.
WAIT I REMEMBERED. X3 does not fucking exist in my headcanon. Like, even Cody (who hasn't a fannish bone in his body) nerdraged over this for weeks. That fucking movie. Augh.
