I JUST HAD A REVELATION GUYS. 

So I totally love Natasha/Clint in any form. I don't know if I ship it or friend it more (as some_stars so charmingly puts it, "Blackhawk or Bromanov"), but it wasn't until her last post that I realized--well shit. It's totally the femShep/Garrus dynamic all over again. They are so fucking amazing together, as a couple or as comrades-in-arms, and I have this certainty they can take anything the universe throws at them as long as they have each other's backs. I hope better fic comes out of Avengers, because I sure haven't been able to find any for Mass Effect.

[edit:] I totally lied. Tarysande does amazing femShep/Garrus (thx thissugarcane ). Go, go.

any time! srsly though, there are like, twenty semi-decent or decent stories out there. uh out of over eight hundred, but still. I will find them! I'm sure you've read them at some point, but maybe we can make a list of good and moderately good! as much for me, as anything.

You are a fucking rock star, my dear. Working on that master list. :D I have a Delicious I use to keep track of things I've read, but it's not really rated or anything. But they're all ones I've finished, so they have to meet a minimum bar. I think they're all Femshep.

ARGH. I wish you could 'edit comments'. I meant to say:

I didn't start reading mass effect until after I had the bad habit of downloading to epub (and putting on my iPhone) rather than saving the bookmark to del.ici.ous or (now) pinboard. And in the last month I've read more ME than I had in the last two years.

Here are the other three I was thinking of, that were unfinished:

A Brave Front - Shep and that moment in ME3 where even Joker asks what's wrong

Destruction, Duty and Love - unfinished. still potential.

Crucible - this one says unfinished, which oh I wish, but it hasn't been updated in a while.

Loved - unfinished. newest chapter goes a little off canon for me, but it's minor overall.

What Now? - email. oh, email. I know IJ from years ago, in comics, and she's really nailed it. It's vaguely awkward raving about her stuff when I haven't talked to her in at least five years years, and we used to be really close in-person, but oh well! That's the internet for you.

Garrus/femshep/Liara - wouldn't be my first choice for a third for them, but it's very sweet!

Alas, the fill with Garrus/Shep and Kelly Chambers doesn't go where I was hoping it would. And all the fills using Kasumi seem a little humiliation kinky for my tastes. still and all, two poly stories that alas, weren't properly continued? Could be worse!
