pearwaldorfI was transferring old correspondence from one box to another and I found a bunch of random shit from my trip to the Netherlands and Belgium in August 2008. So I scanned in the more amusing (to me) ephemera:
These were everywhere in Delft. I guess they really had a problem with people not curbing their dogs.
The Socialists took advantage of the worldwide interest in Obama to initiate discussions about real change and such. I think. My Dutch is really bad.
This was in a pile of promo postcards for Schiedam, a small town next to Rotterdam. They have a jenever museum there.
SO MANY WEIRD POSTCARDS IN ROTTERDAM. My favorites were the STD PSAs done in the style of old horror movie posters, very similar to this one. I thought I kept some, but apparently not.
Apparently they are very hard-up for entertainment in Antwerp.
