George Bush has sometimes claimed that a silver lining to the cloud his forces are struggling through in Iraq is that at least the West's enemies are being fought there rather than at home. The attacks in London are a reminder that that view is as wrong as it is glib.

Well, at least Monkey Boy isn't your president. Oh, I cried when Kerry gave his concession speech. Cried like a little baby.

Of course, reading the freeper (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=FReeper) reaction is even more infuriating. None of them would dare say "This is what happens when you have liberal immigration policies and tolerance of other people," but they'll damn well imply it.

Oh, the Fallwell crowd of "This is your punishment for your queer-loving ways! REPENT!"? He's apparently been making that noise about the London bombings as well, and yet, God still hasn't smited Belgium or the Netherlands, the first two countries where gay marriage became legal.
