The grace with which Londoners are taking all this ruckus in stride is inspiring. And less than 40 dead? That is remarkable, considering how much worse it could have been. I'm sure that's no consolation to the families and friends of the perished, but for an attack that was meant to cause as much fear and hysteria and terrah as possible, that is almost miraculous. There was a phrase used on the Making Light thread--"defiant normalcy." It describes the British to a tee.
