Apparently I seem to have gotten my name onto some hippie/liberal mailing list, so I'm getting stuff from the Democratic National Committee (despite being a registered independent) and people looking for money to effect election reform. What's great is they all have surveys, because somebody the DNC sends stuff to is going to go "Screw Social Security! Less gun laws! Trash the environment!" And yet I send in my surveys anyways, like an obedient cog in the system. It is a vain hope that people in power will listen, but it's there anyways. Go figure.
