So. Big shiny SUV passes by me on I-5 north. It has a big gigantic bumper sticker that has "liberalism" with a circle and slash through it. There's also the usual assortment of military stickers. All it needs is a couple raggedy American flags that have been hanging there since 9/11. Then I look at the license plate: LOCARB1.

I once saw a pickup that had "Liberal: PC for degenerate communists" emblazoned on its back end on the same highway. It's funny as shit now, but I saw it right after the election, so I was less than amused.

One would think that Portland would be a moderating influence on the 'Couve, but apparently that just makes the righties crazier.

Right after the election, a car place in my area ran an ad that was basically like "Bush is awesome, all y'all suck," and I was horrified. Because what the hell kind of advertising strategy is that?

Is it terrible I took the sum total of statements as a good thing? I mean, if people like that were all engaged in Atkins self-destruction, they'd eventually be too busy looking for new livers and kidneys to fuck this nation up any further.
