OMG, it's liek a Jon Stewart-stravaganza today! There's an article in the new Rolling Stone (compleat with sexy piktures!) and apparently he was on Crossfire (transcript, search for "funniest smart guy on TV" EDIT: Torrent link) last night, and totally whipped Tucker Carlson's and Paul Begala's asses:

STEWART: You know, it's interesting to hear you talk about my responsibility. . . I didn't realize that -- and maybe this explains quite a bit.

CARLSON: No, the opportunity to...

(CROSSTALK)

STEWART: ... is that the news organizations look to Comedy Central for their cues on integrity.

...

CARLSON: But, if Kerry gets elected, is it going to -- you have said you're voting for him. You obviously support him. It's clear. Will it be harder for you to mock his administration if he becomes president?

STEWART: No. Why would it be harder?

CARLSON: Because you support...

(CROSSTALK)

STEWART: The only way it would be harder is if his administration is less absurd than this one. So, in that case, if it's less absurd, then, yes, I think it would be harder.

I fucking love this man. How could I not? How could anybody not?

They have CNN on at work and I happen to sit by one of the TVs. Jon completely took over that show and I couldn't have been happier.

Jon Stewart needs to infiltrate our government next.
