I think you could actually do the same thing in the original Sims. The children aside (whose interests were limited to food and play), every adult Sim was seemingly bisexual. Given enough encouragement, they'd latch on to pretty much anybody. Hours of amusement, I'm telling you.

Granted, the original reserved "marriage" for heterosexual unions, and only a "move in" option for homosexual unions. Please tell me they're doing two-groom or two-bride setups now, because that would just about make my day...

I don't know. They have a "join" option, which I think is the civil union equivalent.

Did you see the bit on the news about people "defacing" Yes on 36 signs by markering them rainbow-coloured? AWESOME. The guy they interviewed whose sign was coloured was the best example of the Inbred Homophobic Hick stereotype I'd ever seen in real life, too. "Yeah, well, I think they should find the culprits 'n' stuff, cause, like, they're dad-gummed QUEERS trespassin' an' all."

Unfortunately, no link or picture. Damnit! It was on the news last night, in between the nonstop coverage of Hurricane Ivan. The coloured sign was very pretty, too. Y'know, in that danged faggy kind of way.
