She's not a Persian (wrong face) but I don't think she's a Maine Coon either. Maine Coons have different markings, I'm not even sure they come in grey. Certainly could be part Maine Coon though. How heavy is she? Maine Coons are very large cats. Lots of breads have the tufty ears and feet though, and the big poofy tail, one of my cats is park Turkish Van and has that.
Most of the ones I see look something like this: http://www.fanciers.com/cat-pix/santana.GIF
Cute kitty though. If you guys keep posting pictures of your cats, I'm going to have to as well... :)
I know there are breeders who specialize in gray and smoke coats--these (http://www.petpeoplesplace.com/Gallery/Mammals/Cats/Images/maine12.jpg) boys are supposed to be Coons. I guess it's because the breed standard is so much more like the picture you linked.
She's not a very big cat though--she's only about seven or eight pounds. She's really long though, and I see a lot of long stretchy Coons. She's probably just a mutt, but I don't see that many cats with her hair and coloring, so I dunno.
I've never seen Coons that are grey, but I'll believe it. I'm not all that well read on them, I was considering getting one for awhile but Riley fell into my lap instead. :)
Kinda small for a Coon though, but females are always smaller. I've only seen males. I haven't seen any that look like her in the shelters either. I think it's a safe bet to say she's at least part Maine Coon. She's a pretty girl, by the way.
i have never seen a cat with that kind of hair going on. oh man, those ears are just crazy. that has got to be some kind of cruel joke of nature -- the snobbery of a cat in a package with giant tufts coming out the ears.
She's actually a very strange little cat--she was fed shrooms as a kitten by her first dipshit owner, and she was given to somebody who coddled her and had disgraceful amounts of time to spoil her, so now she's messed up AND co-dependent.

AHHAHAAAA. She HATES it when I flick her ear tufts, but I do it anyways. It probably makes me a bad person somehow, but it's so much fun. And she loves me even if I do it, so.
