I bought a pair of Vans today (except they're black). They're nifty, and I only paid 30 dollars. Whee!

Well, my lovelies, now that you HAVE these wondrous accounts that make you all l33t and kewliez and shit, feel smug. Now stop. You are not your gmail account. :P
Here are some tips to help you utilize gmail more effectively. Here is how you can port all of that mail you've been squirreling away on your hard drives, waiting for a service like this. I do warn you that this method pretty much nukes all of the headers (dates, original email addresses, etc), but it's the best you have until somebody writes a better import utility, which probably won't happen until gmail gets out of beta. And it only works if you use a desktop program like Outlook or Eudora or have a POP3 or IMAP service that you can download to a desktop program. I also wasn't able to get the username+label@gmail.com method to work for me, so I would just send it to your normal gmail address.
Also, gmail helps fight terrah. I personally would recommend sending them oh, toilet paper (the government can pay 500 dollars for a toilet seat but apparently is too cheap to shell out for TP) or bug spray instead of gmail invites, but hey, I'm an unpatriotic heathen infidel. What would I know?
