pearwaldorfdoes anyone else find it discomfitting/disconcerting that the bush administration have underwritten and promoted a coup d'etat against aristide in haiti?
Once again, does anybody really care what celebrities think? Aristide looked at the rebels about to storm Port-au-Prince and he fled for his life. The people discussing Aristide's leaving on NPR were absolutely befuddled that this was even being kicked around as a possiblity. To cast his leaving as part of a U.S. coup is ridiculous.
Why do I even bother?
