[livejournal.com profile] cosinesky, as the only Utahan I know, did this actually happen? Granted, I know it's sucky being a secularist living in a virtual theocracy (a state where you have to be a member of a "private club" to get watered-down beer? Goodness), but really. That's just rude.

And, in case you ever wanted to know about the sacred undergarments of the Mormon Church, here you go. I think it's silly, but then again, like two billion people on this planet have a religion that requires them to engage in ritualised cannibalism, so what the hell do I know?

It did happen - one of the men involved is seeking help from the law firm one of my coworkers day-jobs at. And I completely agree about the rudeness of it all. Frankly, I think all of the 'protesters' I've come across on Conference Weekends in the past provide a loud and annoying reminder that there are plenty of self-righteous control freaks outside of the LDS church, too.
