VH1 was being sensible and aired Johnny Cash's video of "Hurt." (And then they invalidated their sensiblity by cutting to their previously scheduled programming of a crappy girl band I've never seen before nor care to see again)

I think I started crying the most when I saw the shots of June with this incredibly sad but loving expression on her face as she gazed down at him, like she knew he wouldn't last very long without her.

VH1 has actually been airing that blurb about Cash with the video every few hours since yesterday. the first time i saw it, i thought that maybe they were actually being cool and starting to put it into circulation, and then they had that bit afterwards about 'we now return you to your scheduled programming'. augh.

i cried too, though, when i saw it. what a farewell.
