I have a new 5-disc DVD player/changer. It was originally $125, but due to additional price-cutting, last-model discounts, doubled employee savings and a coupon, I got it for the low low price of $53.99. I r0x0r.

Also, Uwajimaya is the coolest store EVAR. The lovely Adrienne took me there and I found real green tea ice cream (memo to Whole Foods and The Artist Formely Known as Nature's [Adrienne's new name for Wild Oats]: Soy Dream's Green Tea ice cream tastes like ass. Get the real kind.), as well as the only Kinokuniya bookstore within miles and miles (I think the other closest one is in Seattle), which carries all sorts of squeeworthy things like Inuyasha postcards, the Cowboy Bebop OSTs (which are so horrifically expensive I wanted to clutch my heart and die), and Kiki's Delivery Service composition notebooks. It also has scads and scads of Hello Kitty stuff, and apparently all I need is the right sort of thing to make me all squealy and go "ohhh kawaii!!!!" Like the (horrifically overpriced) Hello Kitty rice cooker. Much fun was had, and she is delightful to talk to about everything. It was a good day. So good I almost don't mind going to work tomorrow.
