Mar. 27th, 2003 12:58 amMail call!
I was very pleased, as today brought me many packages and pieces of interesting mail.
Packages:
CDs from
_manifesta (thank you)
Children of Dune soundtrack from buy.com
McSweeney's Mammoth Collection of Thrilling Tales from Amazon, which, I am pleased to say, is not printed on cheap newsprint-quality paper.
Mail:
A "personal message from Robert Redford" asking me to give money (which I don't have) to the Natural Resources Defense Council. But if I did have money, I'd get a nifty tote bag. Remind me to scan in the insert (glossy and obviously not made with recycled paper) that tells me how cool the tote bag is. It's funny.
A "gentle reminder" from the Atlantic Monthly asking to renew my subscription, which I've not had any interest in since they switched formats a while back
2 credit card applications. Bleh.
