So, um, yeah. Totally digging the new Children of Dune miniseries. I'm very much impressed that 1. Sci-Fi managed to make a movie that didn't suck (I'm pretty sure Dune was the only other one), and 2. They didn't fuck up the sequel. But I have to say Susan Sarandon was in it only for the star factor, because what I've seen of her performance was totally phoned in. Shouldn't she be crusading against the death penalty or something right now?

I don't know how much they paid Brian Tyler for that magnificent score of his, but I am sure that it wasn't enough. That score pretty much shouldered the entire fucking movie, and amazed me that there is a language out there more beautiful than Elvish. Hopefully the score will be on its merry way from buy.com soon.

Oh. And the guy who played Duncan? Totally fuckable. I want.
