I have three windows full of links about Ted Kennedy. Seriously. It just keeps on coming. A selection:

The Cause of My Life, an article he wrote for Newsweek just a month ago. I read it and I was impressed by it, and I hoped he would make it to see health care reform passed.

The good things about privilege, and how Kennedy embodied them

The terrible bargain we all seem to have made with Teddy is that we overlooked the occasions when he invoked his privilege as a powerful and well-connected man from a prominent family, because of the career he made using that same privilege to try to make the world a better place for the people dealt a different lot.

On the morning of the day before the funeral of Yitzhak Rabin, Senator Ted Kennedy called the White House to inquire if it was appropriate to bring to the burial some earth from Arlington National Cemetery.

Our gratitude will almost certainly be inadequate, a long list of legislation Kennedy was responsible for over his many years in the Senate, with at least one thing you are or someone you love is affected by.

"He never was petty. He was never small." Oh Joey bb.

Hugs to everybody, as we are diminished by his absence today.
