Saw Spirited Away, which is a strange, fantastical and wondrously beautiful movie, miles beyond anything Disney could EVER hope to aspire to. I think they realize this, which is why Disney now controls the rights to Miyazaki's Studio Ghibli films. If you can, you really should go see it.

Saw it in October. It's fabulous!

Saw it three times, because I kept telling people "You must go!" and they would say, "Well, if you go with me." Beautiful film. I can't wait to get it on DVD (assuming they fix the red tint problem they're having in Japan).

It's so different from anything that could ever come out of the Hollywood machine -- too complex, too rich, too frightening, too pure.
