Novice bakers (and I presume, most people in general) do not usually look at the bottoms of their cookie sheets. So writing "Do not immerse" in ittybitty little letters at the bottom will probably not prevent your fine products from being immersed. I advise you to rethink this preventative strategy.

So the moral of the story is, DO NOT IMMERSE YOUR COOKIE SHEETS. They will come out of the dishwasher with abject quantities of water inside them, possibly ruining them for future use, which we will find out for sure when we bake cookies next.
