I don't know about you, but I always grew up thinking that subcontinental India was culturally and culinarily quite different from the rest of the East. So when I look for biryani and vindaloo recipes, I do not want to find books on how to make egg rolls and bok choy. Okay?
And next letter, we really need to talk about your lack of ethnic cookbooks. Twenty Chinese cookbooks for the entire fucking Portland area is not acceptable.
