pearwaldorfThe guy at the fruit shop next to Trader Joe's was right. Soda does taste better in glass bottles. I have the best Dr. Pepper I have ever tasted sitting next to me right now. It has a rich syrupy thickness that puts all the plastic-encased watered down swill you find in the supermarkets to shame. The fruit shop guy says they get the soda from Mexico. How is it that the U.S., birthplace of beverages redolent with high fructose corn syrup, has shittier drinks than Mexico?! It is hereforth resolved that in order to save my waistline (*insert manical Zim-type laugh here*) and money, I shall not drink any more soda unless it comes from the cooler case at the fruit shop.
