pearwaldorfWork sucked. Silly corporate git, childish lecture, insurmountable impossible expectations given situation, many wishes to shove English cucumbers up aforementioned corporate git's ass and burn down headquarters of company a la Fight Club. Not much tempered by the fact that I will probably get a talking-to tomorrow regarding the sorry state of the department on Tuesday night.
Only mitigating factors are Charles de Lint's incredible book The Onion Girl, a sort of puff pastry from the Marsee bakery, and the loving wackiness that is my boyfriend. That and my paycheck in two days. Tyler Durden had the right idea, blow it all up and construct something new out of it. It may not be better, but at least you did it yourself instead of stepping into some corporate construct.
