Scooter Libby got his sentence commuted. He wasn't pardoned, mind, he just won't have to serve jail time. The conservatives tell me this is an important difference.
Brent Hawkes, who was indirectly responsible for getting gay marriage legalized in Canada, was named to the Order of Canada. It is the highest civilian honor given in the country.
Canuckistanis, can I please come live with you? I'll have a Masters in two years and I don't bitch about paying taxes. Plus, I enrich your country by my very skin color.
