pearwaldorfAs a corollary to Cabell's Hello Kitty bento post, here are some pictures of some strange Hello Kitty treat I found at Uwajimaya. I must also acknowledge the proprietor of Hello Kitty Hell, who graciously puts up with his wife's frightening enthusiasm for all things Hello Kitty. Although I must admit a Hello Kitty laptop would be the most awesome thing ever...
At first, I thought they were the same as those Meiji treats where you have sticks of cracker-like material and sweet dipping frosting, but as you can see, this is not the case.
They are what I can only describe as a styrofoamy Corn Pops-like material covered in fakey strawberry yogurt. It's surprisingly not bad, considering they look like pink rabbit turds.
They also come with a picture of Hello Kitty and Mimmy (I think) enjoying a day in the snow.
