pearwaldorfPeople who have duplicate checks--how the hell do you guys deal with the dupes? The default checks that came with my new BECU account (7.5% on the first $500 in your checking and savings, which is perfect for somebody like me who never has any money) are duplicates, and I've always gotten the wallet type, so I don't know what to do with them. I dislike the way they always get in the way if you leave the dupes in the checkbook itself, but if you tear the dupe off, what do you do with it? Right now they're tucked up near the register, but it seems like such a waste of paper and an annoyance. They are also much more awkward to carry around in your wallet (I don't ever carry a whole checkbook with me--too bulky). So, suggestions?
