I went to a friend's house to play with his shiny new Wii, and I can confirm it is totally awesome. Wii Sports is fun, and will be an excellent bunch of games for parties. (Don't play the boxing game though, it sucks balls.) As Jeremy of Pure Pwnage says, it's an exciting time to be a gamer. And this system pwns so hard. Cody's mom and stepfather have been very kind and have said they will pay for a Wii and two games (Twilight Princess and Trauma Center I'm thinking) as an early Christmas present, so the next order of business will be to procure one. Wish us luck.

Oh, man, seriously! Ethan and I couldn't get one yet, but we could afford a couple controllers and we've been at our friend's house all night playing Super Monkeyball, Excite Truck (which somehow, I am a natural at!), some Wii Sports and now Ethan is playing Zelda, which looks soo darn pretty. And making our Mii characters was so much fun too!

I am jealous. But I am very glad to know that it rocks. We're looking at possible Wii ownership sometime next year. Hopefully, they'll be more available then.
