GIP, or, things I learned while driving through the hinterlands of Vancouver.

On the corner of St. Johns Avenue and Minnehaha St., there is a sign that says "The funnest family leather shop in Vancouver." -_O

Krispy Kreme donuts are even more sickeningly disgusting when they're hot. It accentuates the taste and oversweetness of the nasty glaze they use, and I am sorry I bought two before I realized this.

The drive on 205 up to Padden Parkway West is surprisingly nice, and then dumps you onto an exit full of sprawl. Bleh. I thought the way Fourth Plain is laid out was awful, but the new roads up past Hazel Dell are even worse. There's no street signs, and almost nowhere to turn around should you miss your corner. Never have I missed Portland's urban growth boundary more.

And, apparently there's a way to outline text in Photoshop that doesn't require the ridiculous contortions that Paint Shop Pro does. Now somebody tells me, after I spent twenty minutes wrestling with that fucking short bus photo editor. Good night, ladies and gentlemen.
