Best "don't name your baby this" site EVAR. It comes with commentary.

As a person of Scottish descent, I am just curious - are all you ladies naming your daughters Mackenzie (or Mykenzie, or Makenzy, ect) out of some loyalty toScotland? Or perhaps just a love for haggis? Just curious.

Do you honestly think someone naming their daughter Makenzy could find Scotland on a map?

It seems to me that the name "Scatman" is a great one. you know: after semi-singer and comedian Scatman Crothers.

I keep envision having a son named Scatman. I can imagine everyone he meets saying, 'What a cool name.' Which is good because that way they'll have something to like about him even if his personality is really off-putting. Or if he's shallow or a bully when he's like 13, when he should be getting into punk rock or something. At least they'll think he has a hip name.

But don't use it, cause I thought of it.

I'm not even going to paste the response because this is just... wow.

My last name is Tinkletop. For some reason my wife objects to naming our son Timothy, Timmy for short. I think it's a good, memorable name.

You're right.

This may be the only time in my Internet-surfing career that I can use the acronym "ROTFLMAO" and not be overexaggerating. Holy shit!

Oh man, I *love* that site. I found it through the Fametracker "Baby's Named a Bad, Bad Thing" celebrity baby name's thread ... which you should definitely visit if you haven't already. There's a poor kid out crawling the streets of L.A. named Audio Science. Audio. Science.
