Goddamn it, why does every sexual scandal that comes up have to have an Oregon connection? First it's Packwood, then Monicagate, and now fucking Neil Goldschmidt (feel free to snigger at the gigantic Jim Francesconi for mayor ads, Portlanders). The city, of course, is predictably all abuzz about the revelation. I caught a thing on the news about this, and they had somebody doing commentary on the phone. That somebody, unfortunately, was Bob Packwood.

Oh, Good God, it's happening again?! For once why can't we have the kind of national press time that doesn't involve Klamath Falls disappearing under sixty billion tons of mud and water or some one's sexual exploits in places that really just skeeve the rest of us the hell out.

...And, er, hi! I just surfed by here from lcsbanana. I'm in Korea right now, so all this is news to me.
