So. Got knocked out by the Sasser worm a couple days ago. Highly unimpressed with Microsoft's myriad vulnerabilities and ever-thankful for an antivirus program that updates automatically every day. Update your XP patches now, if you haven't already. Unless you like getting worms that reboot your computer every time you get on the Internet. (I dunno, some of you might.)

Cody and I went to see the Rau Collection at the Portland Art Museum on Friday. It was interesting enough, I guess, but it was not worth the $13 a head they were charging for admission to the museum overall. Sure, I got to see some charming little Faberge exhibit too (which for some reason had four or five random netsuke mixed in) as well, and I suppose I could have gone upstairs and looked at all the period art, but I've been to the museum many times and I know what's there. And it probably didn't help that while we were there, a group of bored and unappreciative high school students was as well. And Cody had issues with this one German artist's representation of Judith, but I digress. The selections they picked were interesting enough, I suppose, but there wasn't anything that really caught my interest. Except this one that looked a lot like Katie.

re: netsuke--THAT'S what those are called! a great weight lifts off my shoulders.

and, yeah, high school students can make the best art sucky. *pets you*

sorry for being all uncommunicative lately, btw. i'm...having trouble dealing with anything that's not fandom, including socializing with people on non-comic book subjects. i miss you and will try harder.

I could kiss you.

Reading your post made me check out MY virus software (I've got Norton) and in doing so I realized my Live Update wasn't enabled. So thank you very much, because it is now.
