Feb. 7th, 2004 08:45 pmOftentimes, arguments against racist, or sexist, or homophobic sentiment/commentary is seen as no more than language policing by modern-day bluenoses. And certainly some folks are way too easily offended or are ready to attack naivete and ignorance with the same force they attack pure nastiness. But this is trivial. The real issues are far more important: holding down blacks, lbtgs, women, etc. also serve to lower the boom on everyone.
