Even the presumptions of the investment websites cater to the affluent. I'm on the Merrill Lynch site trying to enroll in my 401k (yeah, holy shit, I know) and it's fucking crawling on dial-up. I cannot help but think I would have been done in five minutes if I had some sort of broadband access. Or maybe the site just objects to me trying to browse it and catch up on Boondocks at the same time.
