In case you care, the reason I was gone is because of work and the new computer, a big ugly generic gray box from Fry's that I'm calling Grendel, because it's so monstrous only its mother could love it. The modem fucked up as soon as I turned it on, and then XP died, so Dad had to take it back and now I think it's okay. Of course, then I kept plugging the phone cord into the ethernet jack and knocking out the phone line until Cody found the proper place to stick the phone jack. (I'm amazingly bright sometimes.) Unfortunately, in the process of data transfer, I seem to have lost a great deal of addresses, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses. So if you would kindly send it all yours along to sonatine at exitseraphim dot org I would very much appreciate it.
